Howdy, folks!
I'm happy to report we've made some good progress on the last few weeks since our last update and we're going into the last 1/4 of production. Rui is finishing up page 49 today and starting layouts for pages 50 onwards.
And I must say... the quality of his art and Téo's on colors have been rising and rising!
You are all in for quite the treat!
Every page they both send my way is a treat to the eyes and it's just plain exciting to see Shadow Nation taking shape like that. We are a bit behind schedule but we have been making steady progress with 3 or 4 pages completed every week.
I expect production to wrap up sometime over the Summer.
And it's not just Rui and Téo that made progress since our last update. KyeYong Eom also turned in his artwork for the collectible cards that will accompany every book sent in the mail.
And it's easily one of the best illustrations I've ever had commissioned. Check out below the finished artwork and then how the card's final look when we go to print with a gorgeous nice red-foil.
Last but not least artist Clonerh finished his four-page sequence for Shadow Nation. On the last update I share one of his pages so why not another one, right?
But that's it, I'm saving the other pages for your surprise when you finally read the book.
I'm very proud of this book and I cannot wait to make it available for you all. I sincerely hope you are all excited about it and I would love to hear some comments about the art so far.

Hey folks,
Here's your monthly status update on the production of The Few and Cursed: Shadow Nation. Also we're going into the LAST DAYS of Red's art book on Kickstarter: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/felipecagno/the-few-and-cursed-painting-the-world-red?ref=2xzp4w
The good news about Shadow Nation is we're over the hill and past our midway point. Rui Silveira is currently working on pages 38 thru 40 while Téo Gonzales has painted up to page 30. As it's been announced already I finished the script a few weeks ago and I went a little overboard increasing the original page length from 64 to 78 pages!
Now, the not so good news is that both artists have been sent home from their day jobs and that demands quite the adjustment on the daily routine so even though we're moving forward with production we are behind schedule and that will affect our initial fulfillment dates.

We've been going back and forth on the $20K Stretch Goal for the last couple of days so how about we band together to smoke that out of the water and finally cement the achievement and unlock the bookmark?

Hey everyone!
Before I get into some really exciting news on Shadow Nation - and some sweet eye-candy - let me first talk a little bit about the latest Few and Cursed launch on Kickstarter.
I'm thrilled to announce we are publishing a supersized ART BOOK exclusively dedicated to the Redhead and her many many artworks produced over the years by some of the biggest artists out there. The book will be over a hundred pages, large format (9x12in!) and high-end printing quality.
And it's over 100% funded already with two Stretch Goals unlocked!
Among all the artworks produced for collectible cards, covers, pin-ups and other promotional pieces we ended up with a pretty jaw-dropping collection of art so it's just exciting to be able to collect all this great material in a single volume.

SHADOW NATION PREVIEWS & UPDATE
Both Rui and Téo have been hard at work producing the pages and they look absolutely fantastic, I'm so proud of the work we are doing together. We are closing in on page 40 at the moment meaning we are almost halfway there.
Looks like we are a couple of weeks behind schedule but while the reason is not rushing the quality I'm okay with it and I hope you will be as well.
Pretty cool piece of news: there is a particular flashback sequence that I really wanted to feel different and jump out of the page so Rui and I decided to not ink these pages and go straight from pencils to colors in a style that felt like brush strokes.
We brought in Mexican colorist marvel CLONERH to help us with that. Above and below are quick previews of his work already:
Last but not least I also wanted to share some of Téo finished pages. He just turned in an amazing sequence that takes place in Washington DC early in the book and it's just too good not to be share with you all.
I hope you are all enjoying these previews and our work so far. We really want to honor your pledge and support by giving this book our best.

Hey everyone!
I have pretty exciting news to share with you plus some eye-popping previews as well. The script for Shadow Nation is now 100% complete, I finished it, it's done and it's easily one of the best stories I've ever written.
It's thrilling, mysterious, engaging and above all surprising. I cannot wait to have you all read Shadow Nation to the end. As it happens often with my writing I ended up going over the page limit but I always believe that like a good wine we need to give stories room to breathe.
So it gives me great pleasure to announce we went from 64 pages of story to 78!
While this might represent a one-month delay in our original fulfillment date (we do have quite a lot more pages to produce) I have every ounce of confidence Rui Silveira and Téo Gonzales will deliver one of the best-looking comic books out there and that's always worth the extra time.

Hey everyone, happy New Year \o/
Quick update for y'all as we go into 2020 with production on Shadow Nation at full speed!
I'm past the mid-point of the script and Rui Silveira & Téo Gonzales are not too far behind. I will share a couple of pages Rui have turned in this week and as soon as Téo color these I will share them too. We're all pretty excited about this book and honestly the story is turning out a lot better than I thought it would.
Alistair Fairweather really stepped up to be a major character and he is stealing the show in some sequences. Pretty surprising but as a writer we can only sit back and watch characters come to life on their own.
I hope you enjoy these! I'm absolutely ecstatic at the level of art that Rui is bringing to the table, should really make for quite the special read.
